My name is Peter Temmerman. After forty years of international service as an adjutant in the Ministry of Defence, I moved from Antwerp to the beautiful Zeeland. I have now lived in Aagtekerke, near Domburg, for five years.
During my travels, I have seen with my own eyes how much European plastic washes up on the beaches of Asia and Southern Europe. Often, it concerns waste that is exported from Europe and dumped there, with drastic consequences for people, animals, and nature.
With the establishment of the Beach Clean Stichting, I want to change that. Together, we are taking steps towards less plastic and more life.
At CSR Beach-Clean Foundation, we believe in direct action.
We organize clean-up operations, sort waste, and ensure that the collected plastic is responsibly processed by reliable partners.
Our partners, such as Corsair Group, process plastic in innovative ways
Conversion to oil via environmentally friendly pyrolysis
Casting hard plastic into building materials
Creation of jewelry, art, and sustainable products
Processing into filaments for 3D printers
